Banksy (1974) - Disguise Kit

Banksy bag, from exhibition with original box, bag for Oscars Ceremony Un official Banksy merchandise van het Moco museum Papieren zak bruin met zwarte opdruk Inclusief verpakking 37 cm hoog bij 27 cm breed, alleen de tas is 34,5 cm hoog bij 26 cm breed While Banksy's subversive street art directly mocks the elite art market, his work ironically shares high-stakes auction houses with the world's most valuable titans. Works by masters like Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Paul Cézanne represent the historical apex of fine art valuation, while 20th-century pioneers such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Francis Bacon, Amedeo Modigliani, Mark Rothko, Gustav Klimt, Roy Lichtenstein, Willem de Kooning, and Cy Twombly redefined how modern art is commodified at auction. At the same time, top modern sculptors and abstract figures like Alberto Giacometti, Alexander Calder, and Jasper Johns set record prices alongside contemporary powerhouses David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, and Jeff Koons—creating a lucrative ecosystem that Banksy relentlessly satirizes through stunts like self-shredding canvases, even as his own pieces fetch multimillion-dollar bids among these very same legendary names.
