An elegant, mid-century modern interpretations of the classic French Empire "Bouillotte" style table lamp, manufactured by the prestigious German lighting design house Bankamp-Leuchten (Neheim-Hustena). Known for their high-quality craftsmanship ("Made in Sauerland"), Bankamp lamps are highly collectible for their premium materials and structural durability. This particular model (5379) features a dual candlestick design crafted from heavy polished brass, resting on an ornate tiered circular base. The column extends into a decorative ring finial loop. The lamp is fitted with two adjustable tapered fabric lampshades in a deep olive green hue that pairs beautifully with the gold-tone metalwork. The underside preserves its authentic maker’s label, confirming the model number and technical testing certification standard (VDE). • Manufacturer: Bankamp-Leuchten • Origin: Neheim-Hüsten, Germany • Model: 5379 • Period: Circa 1970s – 1980s • Material: Polished Brass, Fabric Shades • Sockets: 2 x E14 candle base (Max 60W per socket, 250V) • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The brass displays a beautiful, bright luster with minimal age-related patina. Fabric shades are intact, clean, and sit evenly. Wiring is original and in working order.
