Banded agate slice and pink-colored agates - Saint Agatha...

I am offering at auction a rose striped agate slice pendant with a multicolored agate necklace (St. Agatha Stone - Symbol of Fortitude). The whole necklace has been hand-knotted with knots on every bead. We present a beautiful and striking pendant made from a natural rose-striped agate slice. The piece stands out for its fascinating geometric pattern of concentric rings reminiscent of tree growth rings, alternating beautiful pink and white hues. The slice has been carefully polished to a mirror finish on both sides, offering a completely smooth surface, soft to the touch, and with a spectacular vitreous shine. It is an timeless jewelry piece, ideal for everyday wear or for gem collectors. Fortitude symbolism: Her story is an example of unwavering faith and resilience in the face of torture. She is the patron saint of Catania, and her intercession is invoked against volcanic eruptions (such as Mount Etna). She is also the patroness of nurses and of people suffering from breast cancer, due to the torments she endured.
