Bandai - Toy robot Robot Gordian Deluxe Set - 1980-1990 - Japan

POPY / BANDAI / CEPPI RATTI - Robot Gordian Deluxe Set "Self Separation" - 1980 - First Italian Edition Description: Exceptional and rare vintage set from the famous Gordian robot (Gordian Warrior), in its Deluxe Set "Self Separation" version, produced in Japan by Popy / Bandai and distributed in Italy by Ceppi Ratti in 1980. It is the very first historic Italian edition (recognizable by the period inscription "Protanias" on the chest of the smallest robot). This cult toy relies on the principle of nesting dolls: the hero Daigo figure fits into the Protteser robot, which sits inside Delinger, to finally assemble inside the large Garbin robot. Important note on authenticity: The medium red robot (Delinger) originally had a broken arm, so it has been replaced by a Delinger robot strictly original and period-correct, sourced from the original Japanese Popy / Bandai version. The set is therefore 100% functional, authentic and period-accurate. Condition: • Box & Polystyrene: The original cardboard box is indeed present and shows normal wear related to age (see photos), but the graphics remain vivid. Note that there is no tape or adhesive on the box. The top lid retains its original clear plastic film. The inner polystyrene is very clean and well preserved. • Robots: The three robots (Garbin, replacement Delinger, Protteser) are in superb overall cosmetic condition. The joints function properly and the white plastics have retained a nice color. • Accessories & Manual: The set includes the rare mini-figure Daigo, the large chrome sword, the spear, the axe, the missiles and the red shield. The original Japanese instruction booklet (mini-catalogue illustrated format) is included and in very good condition. A superb vintage collectible piece, sound and ready to join a display case!
