Baccarat – "Bambou Tors" Art Nouveau crystal perfume bottle with stopper – Cranberry overlay crystal – France – ca. 1900–1915 An elegant antique perfume bottle by the renowned French crystal manufacturer Baccarat, executed in the celebrated "Bambou Tors" (Twisted Bamboo) pattern. This refined model is documented in early Baccarat catalogues from the beginning of the twentieth century and beautifully reflects the Art Nouveau fascination with natural forms. The spiralling bamboo-inspired ribs create a remarkable play of light, while the rich cranberry-red colour gradually fades into clear crystal, demonstrating the exceptional mastery for which Baccarat became internationally renowned. The bottle retains its original multi-faceted crystal stopper, perfectly complementing the elegant silhouette.
