B703 - 800 x 140 cm - Taffettà in 100% Pura Seta –...

This splendid fabric represents the quintessence of Italian textile elegance. Produced in the Como district, famed worldwide for its centuries-old mastery of silk craftsmanship, the fabric is a 100% pure silk taffeta of the highest quality. The color is an intense, deep, sophisticated black. The smooth surface catches the light, returning a discreet, iridescent sheen, typical and exclusive to pure silk yarn. The fabric stands out for the classic stiff, rustling hand of true taffeta (the "crackling"). The drape creates sculptural, crisp, and highly dramatic folds, while maintaining extraordinary lightness and fluidity when worn. Measures 800 cm x 140 cm and weighs 730 grams (about 65 g/m²), an ideal weight that combines structure, stability, and the characteristic airy lightness of silk. Thanks to its generous length and exceptional structure, this fabric is perfect for: Haute Fashion and Formal Wear: Ideal for creating structured evening gowns, voluminous and princely skirts, corsets, or elegant outerwear such as mantles and haute couture unlined pieces. Luxury Home Decor: Splendid for grand drapery, ornamental cushions, or lightweight upholstery elements for refined interiors.
