Refined fabric in pure virgin wool of Biella manufacture, expression of Italian textile excellence. The cloth stands out for a traditional, timeless taste in its workmanship, featuring a warm, enveloping hand with a slightly felted feel that recalls the tradition of the finest British-inspired tweeds, reinterpreted with the softness and elegance typical of Biella weaves. The pattern is a traditional Prince of Wales finely woven, with a crisp and well-balanced design. The color palette: the base develops on a melange ground in light gray and charcoal tones with black inserts, enriched by a sophisticated overcheck of ultra-thin red and electric blue stripes. This contrast of warm and cool tones gives visual depth and a dynamic character to the fabric. It is a substantial fabric yet incredibly fluid, with a natural fall that follows the body's shapes without stiffening. Technical Sheet and Dimensions Measures 670 x 155 cm and weighs a total of 2.7 kg, about 260 g/m²; a mid-heavy weight, ideal for the autumn/winter season. The generous yardage makes this cut a unique and versatile piece, perfect for building an entire coordinated wardrobe or for making several high-quality tailoring garments: * Outerwear: Ideal for a structured double-breasted coat, a cocoon coat, a winter trench, or a dramatic cape. * Suits and Jackets: Perfect for men’s or women’s broken tailoring blazers, three-piece suits (jacket, waistcoat, and trousers), or sartorial suits. * Trousers and Skirts: Excellent results for straight-leg trousers or with pleats, pleated skirts, and coordinated waistcoats.
