BOSQUE INGRÁVIDO 168 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Inert Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes the setting for the improbable: a forest that is not held up by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte is not casual: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the color play—with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows—enhances the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can gravitation-free forms reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Inert Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberating act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space. “Inert Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be. - About the artist: The artist has exhibited her work in Almería, Spain; Dortmund, Germany; Porto Alegre, Brazil; the Spain College in Paris; Galería Art & Planét, Paris, France; Los Angeles, California, USA; Montreal, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Barcelona, Spain; New York, USA, among others. - Technical details of the work: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ extra margin) Signed on the back and protected with varnish Original certificate of authenticity hand-signed - Note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and the lighting in the space where the photograph was taken.
