INGRAVOIDABLE FOREST 164 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravido Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that anchors them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play—with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows—intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravido Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space. “Ingravido Forest” already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be. -About the artist: The artist has exhibited her work in Almería, Spain; Dortmund, Germany; Porto Alegre, Brazil; the School of Spain in Paris; Galería Art & Planét, Paris, France; Los Angeles, California, USA; Montreal, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Barcelona, Spain; New York, USA, among others. -Technical details of the work: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ extra margin) Signed on the back and varnished Original certificate of authenticity hand-signed -Note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and the lighting of the space where the photograph was taken.
