INGRAVID FOREST 151 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of the imagination. The reference to Magritte is no accident: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature?
