INGRAVID FOREST 151 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of the imagination. The reference to Magritte is no accident: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space. “Ingravid Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be. -SAbout the artist: The artist has exhibited her work in Almería, Spain; Dortmund, Germany; Porto Alegre, Brazil; Colegio de España in Paris; Galería Art & Planét, Paris, France; Los Angeles, California, USA; Montreal, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Barcelona, Spain; New York, USA, among others. -Technical details of the work: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ free margin) Signed on the back and protected with varnish Original hand-signed certificate of authenticity - Note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and the lighting in the space where the photograph was taken.
