DETAILS AND HISTORY OF THE MODEL (Real Car & Scale Model): • The Real Car: This model honors a glorious chapter in Ferrari’s modern endurance history. Designed and operated by the renowned British preparation company Prodrive, with the agreement and technical support of the Maranello factory, the Ferrari 550 Maranello GTS restored the marque’s nobility in the Grand Tourer category. Equipped with an impressive 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering around 600 horsepower, it entered legend. The scale model reproduces exactly the winning GTS-class configuration from the ALMS Laguna Seca round in 2002, piloted to perfection by the formidable duo Peter Kox and Tomáš Enge. • The Auto Barn Excellence: Produced under Official Ferrari License, this high-quality resin and white metal model honors the constructor’s reputation. The mechanical and aerodynamic detailing is astonishing: fine photo-etched details, absolute fidelity to the race livery’s sponsors, ultra-detailed wheels and brake discs, and a cockpit faithfully stripped for race use. CONDITION REPORT: STRICTLY BRAND NEW IN BOX (“MINT IN BOX”): This lot comes from the private collection of a major Ferrari enthusiast, ensuring top quality and traceability. • The Scale Model: EXCEPTIONAL BRAND-NEW CONDITION. It has never been exposed to light, dust, or handling. It has remained protected in a clean environment (strictly non-smoking atmosphere). It has never left its box, except for the initial step of taking photos for this sale. • The Presentation Cases: The original box, display base, and clear plexiglass cloche are also in pristine, BRAND-NEW condition. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE PHOTOS: The detailed shots attest to the strictly new condition of the scale model and its packaging. Please note that some whitish reflections or light streaks visible in the images result only from light refraction on the plexi cover during photography.
