The lot is made up of four thematically homogeneous series in terms of style, color palette and preservation: 1. The Series of the Four Major Arts (4 postcards): Complete set representing the feminine allegories of Painting, Sculpture, Music and Poetry/Literature. 2. Floral/ Seasons Series (5 postcards): Elegant female figures in sinuous poses surrounded by botanical motifs (roses, daisies, lilies of the valley). 3. Japonisme Series 'Oriental Dames' (4 postcards): Complete and homogeneous set combining the exotic charm of the East with Liberty Style, depicting elegant female figures in traditional dresses set within rich decorative frames (lanterns, fans and parasols). 4.
