Australia - Flag - XXL National Flag – Commonwealth of Australia

A large and impressive vintage Australian national flag, dating from the 1960s. The flag features the well-known design with the Union Jack in the upper left corner, the seven-pointed Commonwealth Star, and the Southern Cross (Zuiderkruis). The Australian flag was first adopted in 1901. Since 1908 the Commonwealth Star has seven points, as on this flag. The design has since remained the basis of the current Australian national flag. This large version has a particularly nice appearance due to its size and is very suitable for display and collection. The flag is in an authentic vintage condition, with a few small moth holes and light signs of aging. Given the dating to the 1960s these signs are normal and appropriate to the age of the flag.
