A0000006401 Article: AURORA Optima Fountain Pen in blue marbled auroloid with chrome finishes, screw-cap, and 14K gold nib Reference / Edition: Optima Auroloide Blue CT (ref. 996-CB) Length: 12.7 cm (closed) Diameter: 1.4 cm Nib: 14K gold (585), decorative engraving — caliber not indicated on the piece Period: Modern Optima line, relaunched in 1992 and in production since then Materials: Body and cap in blue marbled auroloid resin with light blue and white veins, central band engraved with a classical greca pattern and the AURORA logo, clip, ring and trim in polished rhodium-plated chrome metal, ends in black resin, nib in 14 karat gold. Piston-style filling system with ink level window. Condition: Excellent state of conservation. The auroloid looks bright, with no cracks, marks, or color loss; the metals retain their mirror-bright shine with no chipping or appreciable wear on the clip or ring. The nib is aligned and free of deformations. Only micro-scratches due to use and handling are visible, only when held up to light. Includes: Supplied with its original Aurora case, black with beige velvet interior; no papers, certificate, or warranty card visible in the photos.
