Atlantic Worldmaster – Mechanical – Two-Tone Dial – Antimagnetic – Vintage Swiss Watch – 1950-1959 A characterful vintage Atlantic Worldmaster dating from the 1950s, featuring a distinctive two-tone champagne and blue dial and a classic Swiss mechanical movement. The dial is undoubtedly the defining feature of this example. Its champagne centre is surrounded by a contrasting dark blue chapter ring with Arabic numerals, complemented by a red central seconds hand. The natural patina and visible ageing give the watch a strong, authentic vintage appearance that reflects its history rather than concealing it. The dial is signed Atlantic / Worldmaster, with Waterproof – Antimagnetic markings, while the stainless steel case back carries the Atlantic signature and reference 1009-81. The chromed case shows scratches, marks, surface wear and areas of ageing. The stainless steel case back also displays scratches and normal signs of use. The acrylic crystal shows signs of wear consistent with age. The blue leather strap also presents signs of use. The watch has not been tested for water resistance. Despite the historical “Waterproof” inscription, water resistance is not guaranteed. Please study all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual condition of the item. Story & Heritage Atlantic is a historic Swiss watch manufacturer whose roots date back to 1888. The Worldmaster became one of the brand’s best-known lines and is particularly associated with robust, practical mechanical watches produced during the mid-20th century. This example captures the aesthetic of the post-war period particularly well. The two-tone dial, Arabic numerals, red seconds hand and prominent Worldmaster signature create a design with unmistakable 1950s character. Rather than being a perfectly preserved vintage watch, this piece tells its history openly through its heavily patinated dial and aged surfaces. For collectors who appreciate watches with visible character and originality, these traces of time are an important part of its appeal. A distinctive vintage Swiss mechanical watch with strong period aesthetics and the unmistakable character of the Atlantic Worldmaster collection. Internal Reference Number - FLO-153
