5-petal detachable flower ashtray – 800 silver – vintage Italian design – 331 g Elegant and distinctive vintage tabletop ashtray in the shape of a flower, made in 800 stamped silver, with a total weight of 331 grams. The object features an ingenious detachable design: it is formed by five removable petals, each of which can be used separately as a small individual ashtray. Gathered around the central element, the five petals compose a large three-dimensional flower, transforming the piece into a refined decorative object or centerpiece. The surface workmanship is particularly meticulous: each petal presents a dense raised relief reproducing the natural veining, while the center of the flower, the stamens and the buds are sculpted in three dimensions. Even the individual petals, once separated, retain an elegant and complete shape. The design is closely related to the well-known detachable flower ashtray marketed by Gucci in the 1960s/70s, of which specimens with a similar five-petal removable structure are known. On this piece, however, no Gucci signature has been identified, and it is therefore prudently offered without attribution to the maison. The “800” hallmark is present, visible in the photographs. The total weight of the piece is 331 g. The flower is complete with the five removable petals and the central element. The item is in good vintage condition, with patina, oxidation and normal signs of use and age, consistent with its age. The patina has been preserved and the item has not undergone aggressive polishing.
