ASH - Moth – XXL - No Reserve

Title: Moth Format: Single canvas, 150 × 150 cm Medium: Acrylic on canvas Signature: Signed on the front and back Year: 2026 Certificate of Authenticity: Included, issued and signed by the artist Moth marks the beginning of a new series in which I explore a more abstract approach to figurative painting. The figure and its wing-like forms emerge from interlocking fields of colour, becoming part of the surrounding movement. Flowing curves meet angular shapes, creating tension between the forms as their boundaries merge and reappear. Deep blues, warm reds and ochres give the composition its energy. The moth’s instinctive attraction to light becomes a starting point for exploring vulnerability, desire and transformation. This is an original, entirely artist-conceived and hand-painted work — a unique piece, not a reproduction or print. The painting will be shipped rolled, unstretched and securely packaged. Extra canvas margins on all sides allow it to be stretched onto a wooden stretcher frame after delivery. Please note that colours may appear slightly different in person due to lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
