Artigiano del Ferro - Umbrella stand/rack - Model...

The entrance is the calling card of every home, and this spectacular antique wrought-iron umbrella stand “Coralo” has been designed precisely for those who want to welcome guests with character, color and refinement. Made in Italy in the 1970s, this accessory combines everyday practicality with the sculptural beauty of artisanal metalwork. Characterized by a slender square-plan structure, the piece stands out for its rich pattern of volutes, curls and openwork motifs in hand-shaped metal. The finish in a fascinating patinated maroon/bordeaux hue provides a bold and sophisticated splash of color, perfect for breaking the isotony of corridors and entrances—modern or classical. At the base lies a convenient integrated tray to collect water droplets and prevent damage to the floor. This is not mass-produced industrially, but the craftsmanship of the historic Italian wrought-iron artisan workshops of the postwar era, a sector celebrated abroad for its ability to transform rough metal into decorative lace. Most wrought-iron umbrella stands of the era were produced in black; this red coloration makes it a true collector’s piece and a furnishing item. Compact and space-saving, it fits perfectly even in small corners without weighing down the room. This umbrella stand blends naturally into vintage, eclectic, rustic, or contrasting contemporary spaces. An unmissable opportunity to own a piece of Made in Italy home decor history. The two umbrellas shown in the staged photos are purely illustrative and are not included in the lot. Dimensioni portaombrelli: 56x20x20 cm Used, shows normal signs of wear and time clearly visible in the photos in the gallery.
