Artemide Elisse lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti (1920–2006) in 1966, orange. It won the Golden Compass in 1967 and became a global representative of design. Eclisse is a cutting-edge balance between form and function, design and utility. The basis of the concept lies in its functionality to regulate light intensity through the rotating inner shade that “eclipses” the light source.
