Arnon Grunberg - 20 - Aangifte - 2022

The story ‘Aangifte’ by Arnon Grunberg appeared for the first time on May 9, 2012 as a special supplement in the Flemish newspaper De Morgen, to be published a year later in both Polish and English translation (together with stories by Naderen and a visual essay) in the Citybook ‘lublin’, a literary project of the Vlaams-Nederlands Huis de Buren. It would take ten years before the story appeared as a standalone little book. That happened within the framework of the likewise De Buren–curated initiative De Literaire Advents Kalender, a cassette with 25 booklets by Flemish and Dutch writers. One for each morning of December in the run-up to Christmas. The booklets were not allowed to be sold separately. In this lot, however, there is a loose copy, intended for December 20. The booklet is in excellent condition. Rare.
