Armchair (2) - Textile - organic design

PAIR OF ITALIAN FABRIC LOUNGE CHAIRS – 1970s Elegant pair of Italian lounge chairs dating from the 1970s, characterised by clean lines, generous proportions and refined fabric upholstery in natural shades of beige and brown. Each chair features a compact, fully upholstered structure without armrests, with a broad and deep seat flowing harmoniously into the backrest. The gently inclined form and continuous profile give the chairs a soft, sculptural and particularly inviting appearance. The richly textured upholstery is defined by fine horizontal stripes in different neutral shades, enhancing the rounded forms and adding depth to the surface. The tactile fabric and understated colour palette evoke the sophisticated atmosphere of 1970s Italian interiors, combining Mid-Century Modern influences with organic design. A distinctive detail is the horizontal recessed section in the upper part of each backrest, subtly interrupting the continuity of the upholstery and lending personality to the overall design. Thanks to their versatile configuration, the chairs may be placed side by side, positioned opposite one another or used separately. They are ideal for a living room, conversation area, study, bedroom, loft or an interior dedicated to vintage design. An authentic and highly decorative pair, equally suited to a vintage setting or a contemporary interior.
