Original Anvia Almelo-Holland desk lamp from the early 1970s. This characterful Space Age desk lamp is executed in a stylish combination of a brown lacquered metal spotlight head, chrome-plated rods and a heavy black lacquered metal base. The minimalist, functional design is characteristic of the Dutch design tradition from this period. The lamp is fitted with the original Anvia Almelo-Holland 60 Watt sticker, which confirms its authenticity. In addition, the original plastic adjustment knob and the complete adjusting mechanism are present. The double chrome-plated rods allow the lamp to be easily adjusted in height and angle, making it both practical and decorative. This is a less frequently offered Anvia model, making the lamp an attractive addition for collectors of Dutch design and vintage Space Age lighting. Condition The lamp is in a beautiful original vintage condition with normal, light signs of use suitable for its age. Original brown paint. Original Anvia Almelo-Holland sticker present. Original plastic adjustment knob present. Adjusting mechanism functions well. Chrome is in decent condition. Electrical installation is original; working condition not tested.
