The composition shows a tree-lined promenade running parallel to the water, with a succession of large trunks structuring the scene and guiding the eye toward the background. To the left, the tranquil surface of the lake opens up, reflecting the trees and the buildings located on the opposite shore. The presence of small human figures provides scale and everyday life to the composition, without diminishing the landscape’s prominence. The artist builds the scene with direct, luminous painting, with visible brushwork and a palette dominated by greens, earth tones and blue-gray hues. The result conveys a sense of serenity and familiarity, closely linked to the Catalan lakeside landscape. 3. STYLISTIC AND COMPOSitional ANALYSIS The work is organized around a very clear and effective perspective. The path acts as the axis of depth, while the vertical trunks create a rhythmic sequence that guides the gaze to the center and the background of the composition. This succession of trees also creates a contrast between shaded areas and illuminated areas. The water, located on the left side, functions as a horizontal plane of balance against the verticality of the trunks. The lake surface is treated with soft brushstrokes and discreet reflections, avoiding excessive detail. The artist uses a loose facture, especially evident in the tree canopies and vegetation. The greens are modulated with yellows, ochres and bluish tones, generating a rich and natural image. The brushstroke does not seek to conceal itself. On the contrary, it remains clearly visible and adds vitality to the pictorial surface. Thus, the composition combines a naturalistic base with post-impressionist sensibility, in which the perception of light and color takes on special relevance. 4. PSYCHOLOGICAL AND ATMOSPHERIC DIMENSION The work conveys a sense of calm and a stroll. The presence of the tree-lined path, the calm water and the small human figures suggest a lived space but not agitated. There is a clear contemplative dimension. The viewer seems invited to visually walk along the path and progressively penetrate the landscape. The light filtering through the trees creates a kind, serene atmosphere. There is no drama. A balanced and luminous perception of the surroundings prevails, linked to direct observation of nature and a close relationship with the landscape. 5. SIGNATURE AND AUTHORSHIP The work appears signed in the lower right corner. Antonio Sadurní, born in 1927 and died in 2014, developed his production within the Catalan landscape tradition of the 20th century. The present composition is coherent with this sensibility, both in the chosen subject and in the treatment of light, vegetation and perspective. The Banyoles landscape is also a particularly suitable motif for this type of painting, due to the combination of vegetation, water, architecture and daily life. The visible signature, the technique and the pictorial language allow the work to be cataloged directly as the creation of Antonio Sadurní. 6. OTHER INTERESTING DATA Banyoles and its surroundings have historically been one of the most recognizable landscapes in Girona, especially because of the lake, its tree-lined promenades and the riverside buildings. This work precisely captures this daily and scenic dimension. The artist does not seek a monumental view, but a close image of the walk along the water. The structure of the trees creates a very effective visual rhythm and provides depth to a mid-format composition. The work also presents a particularly comfortable scale for collection and interior design, with painted dimensions of 50 × 61 cm and total dimensions approximately 75 × 85 cm with frame. The light frame reinforces the overall brightness of the scene and suitably accompanies the landscape aesthetics. 7.
