Antonio Pirozzi - Il mondo di Mery

“The World of Mery” is an original and spectacular work in a realistic-symbolic style, entirely dedicated to the world of childhood, produced by the Neapolitan artist Antonio Pirozzi. A painting somewhat different from the usual canons of metaphysical and surrealism to which the artist has accustomed us, but equally beautiful, rich in ardent colors; it measures 70 cm in height by 60 cm in width and 2 cm in thickness. The canvases, in fact, crystallize dreamlike and unreal atmospheres, compositions of considerable poeticity, built on absurd pairings that seem to recall the subconscious and the arcane.
