Antonio Murado (1964) - Petalos II

Original work by the renowned Spanish artist Antonio Murado, entitled Petals. In this medium-format piece, Murado reveals a sensibility different from his large atmospheric abstractions, exploring a more intimate and organic language. On an aged background with an almost archaeological appearance, delicate petals in red and green tones emerge, suspended in a minimalist space that enhances their fragility and presence. The composition combines painterly gesture, material, and chromatic subtlety, generating a poetic tension between the natural and the abstract. The treatment of the support—with glazes, stains, and traces of the process— is characteristic of the artist and adds conceptual depth to the work.
