The mesh purse with gold bead dangles and gold frame, with polished oval cabochon cut amethyst to clasp, rolo chain link strap and with a shoulder strap threaded with amethyst and gold beads, engraved C.W. Stout Chicago, stamped 14 and with a maker's mark, all testing 14KT. Accompanied by a copy of purchase receipt dated Nov 30, 1915. 3 x 3.25 in.; Drop: 4 in.; Shoulder strap: 17.5 in. 71.4 dwt. Private Collection of a Lady, Wilson, North Carolina Good estate condition; some amethyst beads with surface reaching fractures visible under 10x magnification.
