Antique German Silver Cow Creamer

German silver cow creamer, ca 1920. A shaggy, stocky beast on spindly legs and big hooves. Upturned horns, flexed ears, and smiley mouth spout. Hinged and garlanded cover with stylized fly finial and flicked-back tail forming ring handle. German marks including 800-fineness stamp, and Hanau makers (JD Schleissner & Shne) and Rome retailers (Kremos) stamps. Very good condition. Dimensions: H 4 3/8 x L 5 3/4 x W 1 7/8 in.
