Antique Bronze Marble Sculpure "Hunting Dog" by Carl Kauba Circa 1890 19th C

A superb antique bronze and marble sculputure of a hunting dog stalking a game bird by Carl Kauba (1865-1922), circa 1890 in date. The bronze features a finely cast model of a hunting dog on a rectangular rouge marble base, signed C Kauba. This high quality hot cast solid bronze was produced using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the "cire perdue" method.
