Original, so-called 'voor tekst' / 'avant lettre' version (dated circa 1950) of the tourist poster for the destination Côte d'Azur / French Riviera commissioned by Sabena World Airlines. Centered is a pretty young woman in local costume. Bold color usage with dominant red and a strong contrast with the yellow edge of the hat. At the bottom right is the edition written in pencil (easily erasable, without damage) indicating the print run ('flamand 130' = Flemish/Dutch 130 copies). The final edition, with text in the three languages plus English, was considerably higher. Rare. Print: Lithography Linsmô s.a. Bruxelles Condition B+: normal horizontal and vertical fold lines, creases from rolling. Fresh colors. Shipping: In a sturdy tube with track & trace.
