Beautiful tourist poster dedicated to Acqui Terme, presented with the slogan “The largest pool in Europe”. Note: This is a later edition, probably from the 1970s. The scene shows the large pool crowded with bathers, with a diving board, cabins, colorful umbrellas and people engaged in sports and recreational activities. The composition invites the viewer to imagine a day of vacation between sun, sport and relaxation. At the bottom it reads “Festeggiamenti – Dancing – Sports – Gare”; the print notes Barabino & Graeve of Genoa and the authorization of the Royal Police Headquarters, dated April 1932. A vivid testament to Italian tourist promotion in the twentieth century, of great interest to those who collect vintage posters, seaside graphics and images related to the history of spa towns.
