Anniversary clock - Aug. Schatz & Söhne - Art Deco Glass, Brass - 1950-1960

Classic German 400-day torsion clock from the renowned brand Aug. Schatz & Söhne (model "Schatz 400"). The clock is housed in a copper/brass lantern case with glazed sides and a decorative crown on the cap. Equipped with a rotating balance with four weights and a sleek, cream-colored dial with gold-colored numerals and hands. Includes winding key and detachable lantern cap. Condition: Incomplete and untested condition. The torsion spring (suspension spring) with the fork/anchor is missing/broken (as circled in red in the photo), causing the pendulum not to be connected to the anchor and the clock currently not running. The casing and dial show light patina and signs of aging. Dimensions: Height: 23 cm Width: 10 cm Depth: 10 cm Weight: 1.1 kg.
