Animal themed collection - Assortment of 40 owl figurines

Ensemble of 40 Owl Figures For sale is a charming and varied collection of a total of 40 owl figures, discovered in an attic find. The figures were originally collected over the years as affectionate travel memories and souvenirs. On some figures, there are handwritten notes on the underside with the place of purchase and the purchase date. This collection stands out for the use of a wide variety of materials and manufacturing techniques. Details about the collection: • Quantity: 40 figures • Highlight: Partially with location and date information on the underside (travel souvenirs) • Materials: wood, lava stone, porcelain, metal, glass, stone, and ceramic. • Dimensions of the largest owl: height about 13 cm, width about 9.5 cm • Dimensions of the smallest owl: height about 2 cm, width about 0.9 cm • Total weight: about 2 kg Condition: The general condition of the collection is good, with age-related signs of use that underscore the authentic character of the find. Please note the following specific details for three of the figures (see photos): 1. One owl has a small piece missing from the right ear. 2. One owl’s left ear was presumably glued. 3. One owl’s color is slightly chipped. Special highlights of this collection: • Mexican Tonala art pottery: The largest figure in the collection (large gray owl) is a beautiful, hand-painted piece of traditional Tonala ceramics from Mexico with characteristic fine patterning. • Glass art: A delicate, fiery orange owl made of hand-blown art glass (Murano-style, I suspect) on small glass feet. Life-like replicas: Elaborately textured figures made of art resin Possibly original Swarovski crystal owl: A particularly special piece in this collection is an exquisitely faceted miniature owl made of clear crystal glass with striking, colored eyes. The optics, cut, and design precisely match the well-known Swarovski Mini Owl (Model 010014). Metal & wood sculpture: A detailed owl sculpture made of metal (tin/alloy) on a real wood base. The accompanying photos are an explicit part of this description and document the condition as well as the variety of all included figures in detail.
