Ángel Herrera Oria (1886–1968) was a journalist, jurist, priest, bishop of Málaga and cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was also the first president of the Catholic Association of Propagandists and editor of the newspaper El Debate for 22 years. An interesting historical photograph of Ángel Herrera Oria is presented, showing him in episcopal attire, accompanied by a blue ink handwritten dedication addressed to his dear friend D. Wenceslao de Cárdenas and signed by Ángel Herrera Oria himself. The dedication refers to his Episcopal Consecration, an event celebrated in 1947, when he was named bishop of Málaga. The piece is framed and preserved and constitutes a document of special interest for autograph collectors, historical photography, the history of Spain and the history of the Church. A singular piece that brings together historical photography and a handwritten dedication from an important figure of the Spanish Church in the twentieth century.
