Roman aryballos in blown glass with a faceted decoration. Flacon Aryballe romain en verre soufflé à décor facetté. Syro-Palestinian flask with a spherical body decorated with facets arranged in a honeycomb pattern, surmounted by a cylindrical neck pinched at the base and ending with a broad flared lip. Un étranglement à la base du col forme un dispositif de compte-gouttes par repliement à l'intérieur du col. A constriction at the base of the neck forms a dropper mechanism by folding inward inside the neck. Green-yellow glass. Beautiful iridescence, very good condition. The glass was precious in Roman times, used mainly for perfumes and for ornamentation. The flask is covered with a strongly iridescent layer with multicolored reflections, formed as a result of the glass oxidation. In places, it has taken the form of an iridescent crust.
