Roman Bronze Ring with Ribbed Bezel – 2nd to 4th Century AD A Roman bronze finger ring with a solid circular hoop and a pronounced upper section decorated with a series of raised transverse ribs. The design is simple but strongly architectural, giving the ring a distinctive profile while remaining entirely functional as personal jewellery. The surface preserves a dark archaeological patina with lighter mineral deposits and areas of wear consistent with age and prolonged burial. Rings of this type belong to the broad tradition of cast bronze personal ornaments used throughout the Roman Empire during the Imperial and Late Imperial periods. Material: Bronze Dimensions: 1.9 x 2.0 cm Weight: 2.64 gr Provenance: Acquired in Germany at an Auction House. We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years. A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email.
