Old anthropomorphic bronze figurine — votive tradition Proposed epoch: Roman period, 1st–3rd centuries AD. Material: Bronze. Typology: Small anthropomorphic figurine of votive or ornamental character. Interesting ancient figurine made in cast bronze, with a human representation of pronounced stylization. The figure presents a cylindrical-configured head, marked shoulders and arms close to the torso, while the lower part adopts a narrow and elongated silhouette. What stands out is the schematic treatment of the anatomy and the reliefs that run along the back, evoking the folds of a garment. The surface preserves a patina of green and brown tones, with mineral deposits and wear. An attractive example of small ancient figurative metalwork, of particular interest for its sculptural character and its singular interpretation of the human figure.
