Ancient Egyptian Terracotta Two beaded necklaces - 100 cm (No reserve price)

Terracotta Bead Collar – Ancient Egypt Elegant necklace composed of numerous terracotta beads, from ancient Egyptian tradition, currently strung to form a long strand of approximately 100 cm in length. The beads, small in size —approximately 3-4 mm— feature a distinctive discoidal and cylindrical shape, with slight irregularities typical of manual craftwork. They preserve an appealing range of natural tones, from ochres and sands to browns and darker earth tones, creating a particularly harmonious overall appearance. The matte surface, color variations, and small signs of wear impart a strong archaeological presence to the piece. The considerable length of the necklace allows the rhythmic sequence of the beads to be appreciated and gives it a significant decorative effect, whether displayed in a vitrine or mounted on a support. Cultural origin: Ancient Egypt Material: Terracotta Total length: approx. 100 cm Bead diameter: approx. 4 mm Condition: consistent with its age, with wear, deposits and tonal variations typical of the material. An intimate and evocative piece, representative of the tradition of personal adornment in ancient Egypt, particularly attractive for a collection of Mediterranean and Oriental archaeology.
