Greco-Roman Egyptian Terracotta Statuette of Isis-Fortuna – 1st Century BC to 2nd Century AD A Greco-Roman Egyptian terracotta statuette representing Isis-Fortuna, the syncretic form of the Egyptian goddess Isis combined with the Greco-Roman concept of Fortuna. The figure stands frontally on a rectangular base, wearing a long draped garment and an elaborate high headdress, with the modelling reflecting the fusion of Egyptian religious iconography and Hellenistic-Roman artistic conventions characteristic of Roman-period Egypt. The statuette is mould-made and preserves substantial age-related surface wear, mineral deposits and traces of burial, while the principal facial features, drapery and headdress remain clearly recognisable. Material: Terracotta Dimensions: 30.4 cm Weight: 705 gr Provenance: Acquired in Austria at an Auction House. We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years. A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email.
