An electrical control instrument designed to test batteries and accumulators, fitted with an analog dial graduated in volts and amperes. A lovely old construction combining a turned wooden handle, a brass frame and contact points, as well as a corrugated metal ribbon resistor. The system allowed making direct contact with the terminals of an accumulator in order to monitor its electrical state.
