An Austrian 14k gold diamond pearl and chalcedony cameo historicist Style pendant brooch. Oval design with an applied diamond-set chain-link border, the edge encircled by pinned pearls. Centred by a chalcedony cameo carved with the head of Hercules (approx. 2.3 × 1.9 cm), surrounded by rose-cut diamonds. With brooch fitting and pendant hook. Hallmarks: Viennese fineness mark for 585 gold, 1922 - 1954 (Neuwirth, plate 8, 30). 4.6 × 4.2 cm. Weight 24.14 g. Vienna, second quarter 20th century.
