Amsterdam view opus 1606 - geert lemmers

Amsterdam view opus 1606 by geert lemmers Photograph 39.0 x 32.0 :: This is not a painting but made of my paintings and photographs and in the end digitally post-processing. Lambda C-print on Acrylic glass. Complete with aluminium mounting system. Ready to hang. Outstanding quality. In his work Philosophy and Art creation are often closely intertwined as all his projects start with a philosophical research and analysis. Geert combines in his artwork different cultures and use the absurd in his attempt to explain the surrounding and uncertain world and its irrational aspects. Composing artworks is for him almost a philosophical question. Transferring his thoughts into some kind of metaphoric representations help him to express them through strong and compassing images.
