Amsterdam School / Art Deco pendulum clock – circa 1925–1935 A special German mechanical pendulum clock in the Amsterdam School / Art Deco style, featuring a distinctive pointed wooden case and decorative metal dial. * Manufacturer/brand: U.M. – Uhrenfabrik Mühlheim / Müller & Co., Germany * Marking: U.M. with a lion on the gong stand * Date: circa 1925–1935 * Style: Amsterdam School / Art Deco * Case: veneered wood with contrasting lighter wooden ornaments * Dial: cast metal with distinctive stylized Arabic numerals * Movement: mechanical spring movement, probably 8-day * Winding: two winding holes – running and striking mechanisms * Striking: large coil gong, probably half-hour strike and hour strike * Movement marking: stamped 16 * Condition: nice original appearance with normal age/usage wear
