All auctions / Ethnographic / ALPINO, ADULARIA with QUARTZ and GREEN CHLORITE Crystals...
From our selection of collectible minerals, we propose an aesthetically pleasing group of Adularia crystals with Quartz and Chlorite from Tujetsch, in the Surselva region, Graubünden Canton, Switzerland. Additionally, it is characterized by white Adularia crystals with a tabular-prismatic habit, associated with transparent Quartz and green Chlorite patinas that create a vivid color contrast inside a small drusy cavity, elements that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that highlight its natural structure and visual impact. Adularia is a variety of orthoclase, a potassium feldspar whose name derives from Mount Adula in the Swiss Alps, where the species was first described; it typically forms in alpine fissures through crystallization from low-temperature hydrothermal fluids during the uplift of the Alpine chain. The green color of the Chlorite is due to the iron and magnesium present in its phyllosilicate structure, while the associated quartz is deposited in the same cavities in successive stages. The Graubünden region, and in particular Surselva, has historically been one of the most renowned areas in Europe for finding good aesthetic quality alpine vein minerals. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the field of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always indicated in the description. Photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable and carefully selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 business days within Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional, secure packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also occur the day after payment depending on the destination. It is possible to accumulate multiple purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different deadlines, simply contact us to organize the consolidation.
