The Alnea Mod. 5 belongs to the early ALPA cameras and is recognizable by its distinctive construction with a 45° reflex viewfinder, an additional direct viewfinder, and the specific ALPA bayonet mount. The model was produced in relatively small numbers and is today mainly of interest to collectors of high-quality Swiss cameras. The Model 5 was produced in approximately 2,200 units according to specialized camera references. This lot includes: ALPA Alnea Mod. 5 camera body, No. 33647 Removable original back Camera offered without lens (see other listing) Important mechanical point: when pressing the shutter release button (on the lens), the mirror does not flip up. The shutter/mirror mechanism is therefore not functioning correctly at the moment and needs to be checked and possibly repaired.
