Aligi Sassu (1912-2000) - Il cavallino; Cavallo al bagno...

Series of six framed original lithographs by Aligi Sassu depicting animals and mythology Aligi Sassu (1912-2000) was one of the most important Italian painters and sculptors of the 20th century, renowned for his expressive style and for works of strong emotional impact. Although he is primarily known for his paintings on historical, mythological, and political themes, Sassu also created graphic works and illustrations during his long career. These certified prints represent a lesser-known but documented aspect of his artistic production, probably made as commercial illustrations or editorial projects in the artist’s youth. The certified works by Aligi Sassu are highly sought after by collectors of 20th‑century Italian art and by enthusiasts of Italian Expressionism. The market for these authenticated prints is composed of serious collectors who value documentation and certified provenance, investors in Italian modern art, and cultural institutions interested in completing collections dedicated to artists of the Italian Futurist and Expressionist movements. The presence of authentication certificates on the back significantly increases the historical and commercial value of these pieces. Framed dimensions per piece: 39 x 32
