Bring the sophistication of high design to your outdoor space or informal lunch table with this extensive 36-piece tableware collection from the iconic ‘Dressed En Plein Air’ series. Designed by the renowned Marcel Wanders in 2020, this collection seamlessly blends unparalleled aesthetics with the durability required for modern, carefree living. This extensive set consists of 36 pieces: 12x Side Plates (White): Ø 20.5 cm / 8”. A crisp, clean foundation for any table setting. 12x Soup Bowls (Light Grey): Ø 23.3 cm / 9¼”. An elegant, soothing grey that adds depth to your dishes. 12x Dining Plates (Warm Grey): Ø 27.3 cm / 10¾”. A refined, warm tone that gives a luxurious feel to any main course. The Design: A Baroque Dance of Light and Shadow As the name ‘Dressed’ implies, these plates are ‘dressed’ with a rich and complex visual language. Wanders is known for his ability to translate lush, almost baroque motifs into objects that retain their elegance and lightness. The relief decoration is placed in less obvious, slightly off-centre positions, beautifully drawing focus to the food being served without ever overpowering the presentation. Durability Meets Design ‘Dressed En Plein Air’ is the answer to the need to permanently eliminate disposable plastic. These high-quality melamine plates are designed to stand the test of time, making them perfect for al fresco dining, informal gatherings, or luxury picnics, all without compromising on style. Each piece features the characteristic relief decoration that turns this tableware into a true work of art. Whether you are hosting an intimate dinner in the garden or elevating an informal lunch, this collection is the ultimate choice for the design enthusiast who seeks a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. Dishwasher safe This ‘’Dressed Plein air'' set is in a new and unused condition. Delivered in their original package. Marcel Wanders: Marcel Wanders grew up in Boxtel, the Netherlands, and graduated from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988. Marcel Wanders’ fame started with his iconic Knotted Chair, which he produced for Droog Design in 1996. He is now designing for the biggest European design manufacturers like Flos, Vitra, Kartell, Droog Design and Moooi of which he is also art director and co-owner. Additionally, he works on architectural and interior design projects. Various designs of Marcel Wanders have been selected for the most important design exhibitions in the world.
