All auctions / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Alessi - Kong Kong - Egg cup (2) - Girotondo - Steel
Two iconic King-Kong egg holders from the Girotondo collection, designed by Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini, for Alessi. Made in high-quality stainless steel with a polished finish and black thermoplastic resin. Introduced in the late 1980s, the collection stands out for its quirky cut-out figures – stylized human shapes with round bodies – that adorn a wide range of home items, from trays and bowls to napkin holders and cookie jars. The simple yet bold Girotondo design has appealed to design enthusiasts as well as casual consumers, becoming a symbol of fun and functional contemporary design. In excellent condition, used, with light signs of use. The products will be adequately packaged and shipped within 48 hours with a tracking code. Photos are an integral part of the description.
