All auctions / Toys & Collectibles / Alessandro Piano - Alter Ego Pumpkin 44 - PRINT on PET...
I have been in love with the famous LEGO bricks since I was a child, and today I realize how immortal they are. Their beauty is also that they manage to make immortal the other toys of the '80s. This is the intention of my work. This is the stimulus that led me to create my 'Alter Ego' with the toys of the '80s. I would like everyone to be able to take a step back in time and see our old games in a different way, almost immortal. From this starting point I have also carried forward new experiments with new inclusions. These are the words with which Alessandro Piano describes his work. The immediate next step after creating the Resin Alter Egos was photography and the creation of prints on PET PET print with signature on the front, ALEPIANOtm sticker and signature with title of the work and progressive number on the back. The number of the photo may not be the one in the auction.
