I have been in love with the famous bricks since I was a child, and today I realize how immortal they are. Their beauty lies in the fact that they can also make immortal the other toys from the '80s. This is the intention of my work. This is the impulse that led me to create my 'Alter Ego' with 1980s toys. I would like everyone to be able to take a step back in time and see our old toys in a different, almost immortal, way. From this starting point I have also pursued new experiments with new inclusions. These are the words with which Alessandro Piano describes his work. The immediate step after creating the resin Alter Egos was photography and the creation of prints on PET. PET print with signature on the front, ALEPIANOtm sticker and signature with the work name and progressive number on the back. The number of the photo may not be the same as the one in the auction.
